Planning a Bequest

ansons bay.jpeg

By planning a bequest to the Tasmanian Conservation Trust you are helping protect Tasmania's beautiful natural environment. We have a proud history of conservation outcomes in Tasmania including:

  • stopping the destruction of 1,800ha of native forest at Ansons Bay

  • stopping the destruction of 2,000ha of native forest at Woolnorth

  • assisting with the establishment the Mt Wellington, Precipitous Bluff, and Tamar Wetlands reserve. establishing the Mt Wellington Reserve, playing a pivotal role in stopping the Super Trawler and Tamar Valley Pulp Mill as well as countless local projects.

TCT depends on bequests, big and small to continue fighting for Tasmania's biodiversity and unique natural values. By donating to the TCT you will help us:

  • oppose bad planning decisions that favour property developers and shut out community concerns

  •  prevent development in local reserves and national parks

  • protect threatened and endangered species, including their important habitat.
